Title: 131 parts on later Fiats Post by: david on April 27, 2011, 06:38:45 PM While working on later Fiats I sometimes come across bits that were used in 131's as in the other day while removing the interior out of a mk1 punto so I could weld the floor and noticed under the rear squab that it had the same oval rubber bungs under the seat as 131's used in the rear of the front inner arch.
Also the square plastic plugs under the bonnet are the same as 131 on punto and cinquecento. On the early panda (up to 94 in UK) the rear side windows plastic inserts for the front hinges of these windows are the same as 131 2 doors (inc sport). While changing the barrel on a cinquecento door lock I think it was the same barrel as a mk3 131 but I didn't have one on me at the time to compare it with so I can't guarantee this. No doubt there are other parts that were used on later models ? ? |
