Title: Cars that are nearly extinct
Post by: Thotos on July 15, 2011, 11:56:49 AM
On the UK's MSN car site (http://cars.uk.msn.com/features/ (http://cars.uk.msn.com/features/)) there's a new feature entitled "Cars that are nearly extinct" (http://cars.uk.msn.com/features/photoviewer.aspx?cp-documentid=158560788). It was sent to me by a friend who spotted the Trevi at number 10 out of 20 with a caption claiming "...and for the last four years there's been just one left on the road".  Now I know that not to be true as there have been 4 Trevis on UK roads in recent years with two of them (one of them mine) in regular use. But I think mine is the only one that has been in 'full regular use' being taxed and insured throughout the year including the winter months. In fact it was my everyday car for the snowy winter in 2009/2010. Fiats that are reported to be nearly extinct are the Argenta at number 9 and the 1300 at number 8.

Well I own an Argenta and know of a few others. Mine is not on the road at present but will be sometime in the future ;) I wonder how many 130 saloons there are left. That is the next one of my collection to hit the streets or 131 Panoramas? ;D
