Importing a European made car from a European country is very simple and doesn't have to cost a fortune. I've done it twice now (Abarth in 2004 and Racing in 2005) and provided you have a 'bill of sale', Customs and Excise form (shouldn't have to pay VAT) and original registration document (or certified copy as I did with the silver Racing) the only costs are for an MoT, UK insurance, first registration fee and road fund licence (tax) - most of which you'd have to pay anyway. 8) |
