Title: Car Cleaning Post by: Rob 131 on September 19, 2011, 05:45:54 AM After 2 and a half months of being stood outside (uncovered) in temperatures up to 50 Degree?s C (30 at Night), Intense Humidity with Sand and Dust blowing, the BMW (AKA the Great White Whale; styling cues slightly from a MK3 Granada and IMO the new model really dates this one) started first time. My joy was short lived as it wobbled down the road. However a trip to Bridgestone?s superb workshop in Dubai soon had it all balanced up. I spent a great deal of Saturday cleaning it using products from ?Formula 1? and the end results are quite pleasing as per the pictures (Carpets, Mats, Plastics and Leather). Are these products available in the UK. It is not up to Mirafiori Man?s Cleaning Standard?s however try doing it in 38 Degree heat. Next week I?ll wax the body and clean the wheels. I think i?ll be having it a while longer in spite of it being due a change at 3 years. Worth the effort as it?s always nice to drive a clean car.
