Title: fiat 131 ohv con rods & oil pump Post by: fi131 on November 03, 2011, 03:26:56 PM I am offered a set of new con rods and a new oil pump.
The problem is that both come from an 124 series ohv engine .The conrods are marked with 4150285 number that is from the 1197 cc and 1438cc ohv 124 series engines both having 71.5 stroke and the oil pump has only an 124B sign marked which should be from 124 B OHV 1438cc engine. Does anybody knows if both 124 ohv and 131 ohv engines share the same conrods or the same oilpump? Whould they fit my 1300 131 ohv engine? Any idea whould help as the above parts will be given away in a while unless i take them.
