More than a fan, I'm the Chairman !
Strictly speaking, thats not an ex factory works car, but almost as valuable as it was built by Jim Little (body), Phil Davison (engine) and Brian Wileman(gearbox/axle) and is owned by long term club member and competitions driver Julian Birch. This car was built from a RHD shell. The works cars were LHD from factory and all had the numbers xxx 999V. Cars built to compete, if they have competition history, are close to the same values as the handful of cars that competed in the Lombard/RAC and WRC stages. Expect to pay ?130,00 for this car and similar and up to ?250,000 for a works original like PVC999V that was sat aside the new Lotus Exige Rally Car launched at Frankfurt a few months ago. Perry |
