Title: 131 Racing in italian rally
Post by: bellamacchina on January 25, 2012, 09:33:05 PM
Searching the web I found these pictures. A lot of Racings are used this way in Italy at the moment.

Nice pictures - I wonder is it the standard rear axle...?  ???

sure, why not? On asphalt IRS is only slightly superior to the standard axle - nothing a good driver cannot compensate. Uprated springs and shocks are much more critical for success.

I like the way you can have fun with a true unmolested Racing (means not posing as Pseudo-Abarth)  ;D

Looking at the angle of the rear wheels at the corners I'd say for sure that's the standard solid rear axle. In some circumstances it can be better than IRS.

it is a nice looking car. Great wheels and that is from someone that likes his 131's to look standard.
