;D It's not that bad! ;) It may grow on me once I listen to it a few hundred times  ;D But I'm sorry to say I'm fairly sure I won't be coming to the Netherlands for the Eurovision in 2013  :(  I don't think I'll be going back to Cyprus for the Eurovision in 2013 either  :-[ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldbDIgLdB7s (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldbDIgLdB7s)
The UK haven't announced anything about the Eurovision yet and there's only a couple of weeks left for the entries to be in.

Like a Trevi somehow, if you replace "listen to" with "look at"  ;D ;D

Sorry Theo, I just couldn't resist  ;)

Ah but I didn't have to look at the Trevi a few hundred times before it looked good to me. It only took 97 looks and it was fine  ;D

Here's another look for you Robert  ;D

As I sit here taking a break from work watching over England's Green and Pleasant Land for a change, it got me thinking 'where has the last year gone  :o :o'.

You have the Eurovision coming up, you boys (and girls) on the 3 MA and the Isle of May TT Races in late May.

I liked the Trevi from the start - But I always did have a weakness for boxy cars with an Italian flavour. You just need to avoid looking at the C pillar! :)

How are you getting on with the Trevi looks Robert?  ;D
To help you along here's one of the Trevi playing in the snow recently  ;D

There's been an ongoing discussion about Trevis on the Car Magazine website (http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/Community/Media/Media-Gallery-Detail/?mediaItemId=10930 (http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/Community/Media/Media-Gallery-Detail/?mediaItemId=10930)) and one of the guys there has added some period test reports to Wikipedia. It's interesting that back in the day Autocar magazine viewed the Lancia Trevi 2000 as competing with the following cars: the Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2.0, the Citroen CX Athena, the Fiat Mirafiori Sport, the Renault 20 TX and the Saab 900 GLS saloon and the Trevi had the highest top speed (113 mph).  You can read the Wikipedia entry at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia_Trevi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia_Trevi).

59 and still counting  ;)

But anyway, in my personal list of awful cars the Trevi is waaaaaay down the line. At the moment the top 5 (more or less contemporary) are: #5 SMART, #4 Opel Agila, #3 Fiat Multipla Mk 1, #2 Audi Q7 ("the rolling castle" which was #1 for some time and, just as I thought it couldn't get worse, BMW proved me wrong by launching the X6  :o :o :o)

So the UK decided to break at least one Eurovision record by sending the oldest artist even to perform  :o and at 75 years old Englebert Humperdinck's record will probably not be broken for a long time! Can't see the logic in sending an ancient monument (sorry Englebert) to the Eurovision but the BBC think they know best!

Robert,

I don't think much of the X6 either but the most ugly car BMW currently produce in my opinion is the hugely expensive 5-series GT  :o I'm amazed they managed to sell a single one - they are hardly common on the roads of Britian, and not really surprising - the cheapest (new) is almost ?45,000!! :o :o :o :o

Simon

I agree with you regarding the GT. In fact I don't think I have ever seen one outside of BMW showroom  ::) ::) The similar concept Audi A7, is a good looking car with that sleek rear end.

Many manufacture's are perhaps trying to fill too many markets. The X6 I don't mind the look of and they are quite popular here.

For good looking modern cars; the new shape 5 Series and Jag XF are my current favourites.

Best looking car ever. IMHO has to be a S2 Sport or Super ;D  ;D Lancia Beta Saloons and Coupe's are also well up there in the beauty rankings.

Nice legs  ;)  I'll have to listen to the song a few hundred more times before I can pass judgement  ;D
My favourites so far, partly (mainly?) chosen on the basis of places and countries I'd like to visit  ;) are Denmark and Bulgaria. I also think the Russian Babushkas will do well and I'd like to visit Moscow. I didn't manage it last time Russia won and the Deep Forest concert I was going to see in Moscow a few years ago got cancelled  :-\  But I'd also love an excuse to go back to Athens (my favourite city from all that I have visited) so I won't mind at all if the legs, sorry, the Greek song wins  :D ;D
