Title: Diff oil seal Post by: kev131 on May 22, 2012, 04:58:27 PM Anyone know where a dif oil seal can be found - Belongs right at the front of the diff where it meets the propshaft. Have a slight leak on the 1600 Super.
While on the subject of seals/gaskets, has anyone tried these kits and this seller? Looks good value...wonder about the quality at this price. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370614488466?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Title: Re: Diff oil seal Post by: Thotos on May 22, 2012, 05:39:37 PM If you get the size (should be on the old seal or someone here will give it to you) get a nitrile seal from http://simplybearings.co.uk (http://simplybearings.co.uk).

Thanks for the multiple offers of help either by text or PMs as well as directly on the forum. I now have 2 on order from Germany and I'll check the measurements against what you've said Bobby. :) |
