Title: My New 131 Number 4
Post by: c.a.c131 on July 05, 2012, 12:42:58 PM
SNAP I got one too  ;D

I got this RHD S3 Super 2000/TC, needs a bit of bodywork  ;D It's a very late 131 reg in Feb 1984. Got it for a part's car but some day it could be back on the road  :) I like the power steering, and its the first 2000/TC 131 I have owned, it's only had 3 owners from new the first owner had it 20 years. Has 80,000miles, these 131 are rare now.

As far as i can see by the pictures this one is too good to scrap or use as a donor. Besides, every 131 scrapped is another one gone  :-[
Nice one. Please save her. :)

It still has the Fiat dealer sticker on the back window, my rear window speakers are not as big as Kev's one's ;D

Looks for me as a very solid car in a great colour. I think I should restore it, base is great although I didn't see it in the flesh. For sure scarce enough to keep!

Good luck with it.

why should you scrap this car? It's a 2000tc, I think it would be a shame, expecially with so well preserved underneath. Here in Italy somebody scrapped some days ago this car:

What a pity....
I don't like metallic red, not original but very eighties. What colour was it?

Are you sure? Metallic red was not an option at his times...

It's the only RHD 131 Super S3 I have ever seen in this colour, it comes up more maroon (red) in the photo's. Its like a maroon/copper colour in reality when you see it, and looks more red in the photo's.

These are the only other photo's of this colour I have.

The brochure pictures are from a brown car, your car is more red. It is original for sure, I will look if I can find it in a colour card.

I once owned a metallic brown series 3 super. Still have the wings, doors, bonnet and bootlid  ;D

It wasn't my favourite colour >:( I do however really like the red metallic colour ;D

THIS COLOR IS NOT AS RARE AS IT MAY SEEM AS I HAVE PERSONALLY COME ACROSS A FEW OF THESE IN THE EIGHTIES. THOUGH I CAN NOT HELP WITH THE PAINT CODE

The only metallic colour that looks a little reddish is the "marrone bruciato metallizzato 732", it's a metallic reddish brown and it's not the same as the colour of your car, which is clearly red and not brown.
I own a 131 in this colour and is not the same thing as yours, but it's clearly the same as the old official fiat  pictures you posted:
