I did hear it was seen on a lorry transporter heading for the UK, there was a big thread on another forum about it.

Cars sell all the time, as long as it has gone to an enthusiast who will love it, that's half the battle. :)

The thread is on all italia I have not seen it as I dont be on that froum. Two guy's I was talking to this week said that their was a thread about it been on the back for a car transporter lorry near the port. Thats all I know about :) didnt ask for the full story, as I have had a busy week and had more important things to do.

It just goes to show that you can do nothing in Ireland with a 131 without someone seeing it go up or down the road ;)

Six 131s at the same time would indeed be a record for me, but I have owned more Fiats at the same time ;) Back in the early 1990's I owned a total of thirteen Fiat's at the same time  ;D including a 128 SL, a 132 1800 GLS automatic, 124 AS Spider, 124 AC Coupe and three 131 2000TC Super saloons! :o Ah, those were good times ;D Yes, i'm sure some people have owned more than 13, but I lived in a terraced house with a single garage and no off-street parking, so my neighbours loved me!! ;)

I would dearly love to increase my 131 fleet size with the addition of a black Sport, but I think 5 is my current limit, so I'd probably have to sell one if a black Sport did come along, not that there's too much chance of that unfortunately. :-\

Wow 13 Fiats at the same time  :o :o :o Were they all taxed, mot'd and insured if they were parked on the street  ;)

I remember turning 17 in the October of 1989 and my friends and I would often be in the local car auctions buying cars. In this period and until mid 1990, there was always a reasonable smattering of 131's, 132's Beta's (saloon's and coupe's) amongst the Cortina's, Capri's, Rover SD1's and Cavaliers. Very Happy Days ;D ;D ;D

The Italian stuff was always very cheap. However by Mid 1990, almost overnight they were becoming very rare. ::).

In this period it would not have been difficult to buy many of these cars for little outlay.

One car that still sticks in my mind is an 82 Y Plate Beta 2000 Saloon in Red (or was it plum). It was in very good condition except the windscreen was smashed through.

With 4 of your current 131's roadworthy, is it only Albert who currently has more in use  ;)
