Post by: hammerbeirne on May 23, 2013, 09:32:35 AM
Does a 131 twincam engine leak out oil between the head and the block And if so could this mean the head gasket is blown Engine is not over heating and not loosing coolant either

Gasket could be weeping, but a leak elsewhere could be being blown around to look like a head gasket. Wash it all down, run the engine a look for the leak then.

STILL LOOKS LIKE THE HEAD GASKET THE OIL IS TOO CLEAN TO TRACE THE ORIGIN OF THE LEAK IS THERE SOME TPE OF DYE THAT CAN BE MIXED THROUGH OIL TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM MORE ACCURATELY ?

If there is oil around the head gasket it probably is that very gasket. The other other possobility is the cam boxes. Are you sure these are not leaking? From the back or from the front.
It's hard to tell without seeing your engine.
Do you have a top mounted dizzy? There's a gasket there as well. So many possobilities.
