Title: 1600 DOHC camshaft. Post by: stathe174 on July 26, 2013, 12:06:46 AM Hi I need the camshaft for a head mounted distributor for a 1600 engine. Anyone can help?
I have for a 2ltr engine but its useless for me I think. Thanks. Title: Re: 1600 DOHC camshaft. Post by: bolger on July 26, 2013, 06:51:42 AM If the 2l cam can drive the overhead dstributor, give it a try, they were not that different if I remember correctly.

Title: Re: 1600 DOHC camshaft. Post by: Tas131 on July 27, 2013, 11:34:59 PM Most of the American twincam spiders had cam mounted didtributors, so you could probably track one down here:

The blanking plug has to be long enough to hold the oil pump drive gear in place, so just covering the hole is not sufficient. Title: Re: 1600 DOHC camshaft. Post by: strada on July 28, 2013, 09:25:11 PM the correct blanking plate was used on the digiplex equiped stradas, 130 tc & mk2 105tc, i think i have one somewhere.
