Hallo, I'm just wondering if anyone has mounted bigger breaks on the 131. Currently mine is fitted with uno turbo breakes because this is the only one I know of that can be fitted without any modification. So to my question.. does anyone know of any other breaks that can be fitted without any large modification . Feks from : fiat coupe, lancia delta, punto abarth , and so on......

My 131 is fitted with Fiat Bravo disks and callipers at the front.

Theo, are yours vented or solid?

What year and engine type on the bravo this brakes come from?

Not exactly sure. They are from the original Bravo (before the Stilo) and they are the solid disks not the vented HGT discs. I think all other Bravos had the same disks? 

If you do a forum search you'll find a few peoples thoughts on bigger brakes. I've got Regata 100s calipers and discs on the front of mine and a 132 disc rearend.

me also front regata 100s rear 132 disc.

The rear brakes on my car are 131 front disks with VW golf callipers. The disks are a straight fit onto the axle but the callipers needed custom modified mounting brackets and the panhard rod vertical mount bracket had to be slimmed slightly for the calliper to fit. But I think that Fiat Croma rear callipers could possibly be fitted with less modifications needed.

 A well set up standard brake set up always never let me down in the past for home fast road use , not track days or  the racetrack . as i never realy had a long enough race with anybody or my self  ;D
  Only once 25 years ago i had mintex fast road pads thats all and a mental ride home down twisty country roads and at that time the discs where worn down to about 7mm and where glowing in the dark but never faded and allways stopped on the button ,but i did change them soon after  ;D ;D ;D there ability usually out performs yours  :D

Theo did you had any modifications made for the front brakes or it was a straight fit?

It's a straight fit using the original Bravo brackets for the calipers but they're too large to fit behind 13" wheels so you must have at least 14" wheels.

I have fiat ritmo 130tc vented front disc and calipers.

Is very easy to fit.

I have Uno Turbo discs and callipers fitted to my 1600 CL, like Lorf has. The discs have the same diameter as Original. Callipers are an easy fix without having to do any modifications.

This will fit plug and play!
it's from Fiat Palio 1,6l-16V
disc are from Brembo (slotted) on the pic,
but you can use original ventilated , or cross-drilled,

is there much of a modification to install the coupe turbo brakes into a 131 ?

Have you used palio 257,5mm discs ?

And palio calipers directly fit without modification ?
