Ja it looks like a car that was for sale in Bethal about 3 years ago, from a young school teacher there I drove it, it was in fair condition at the time looks cleaner outside now. I don't think the price is ridiculous for those that don't know the area South Africa in the inland area has a California type dry climate that keeps cars in good rust free condition compared to the Northern hemisphere. If it is the same car it was for sale for R18000 back then.

One needs to check whether it is a real 131 Racing. There were only 16 SA Racings built which included works cars. It may be a replica

How would you tell I have always suspected my Abarth replica of being a Racing because it has a battery isolator switch inside the cubby hole?

As far as I know, the only real way is if the VIN no falls within a certain range. The cut out switch in the cubby is not necessarily a certain sign. The works cars had an external cut out as required by regulations AND slotted top struts to adjust camber. Is your car the ex Viljoen car from Cape Town?

I spoke to the owner a few times.
Aparently it has now been sold to "someone from the UK"
Anyone have an idea of who's the new owner?

Ok., I'll stand down on this issue. I quit geography asap at school. Political studies was not an option.
But I would like to know who bought this car.
And are they happy with the purchase.
