Title: Front Valance colour? Post by: parrish on November 16, 2013, 10:35:44 AM My white 131 1600 has the chrome bumper.
However when fitted and adjusted correctly the area of front valance behind the bumper being white is so obviously visible. This would look better painted black. Does anyone know if that are should was black from the factory? Steve Note the photo below shows the old bumper but the area above the bumper and below the grill can be seen. Post by: 131DHOC on November 25, 2013, 02:27:56 PM Although all fiat 131 were painted in black with a special coating (often dripping by the vents to the inner side) seat finish of this part was in the same colour as body; I suppose they overpainted the black coating. So this is the reason why your car is different.
