Hi Finnie!
Why dont you go to a Biltema store that is closest to you and buy a radiator for a Volvo 240/740 they are alloy and fits with small modification and cost about 90? I think.

Cheers Alf

Had a look at theses on Ebay, as you say look similar, have you a photo of one installed?

I recently came across a guy here in Australia that uses Toyota Camry radiators in his 131's,  weight of the radiators is a lot less and has twin thermo fans.

Simon:
I haven't done it to my 131 because I want it to look like a stock radiator, but I have seen conversions on a 124 coupe and it seems to work great.

When I had o look at it the Volvo radiator had similar measurements to the stock 2l 131 radiator and in and outlet of water at the right places.

cheers Alf

I had a look on ebay too and they don't look similar to me  :-\ The Volvo radiator has no pressure cap so it requires a pressurised expansion tank which the 131 doesn't have. But I have seen Valeo aluminium radiators fitted to 131s. In fact I think Simon's Stradale has one.

I sized one up for my 131, but can't find the part number of the one I chose. Even with freight to OZ the price is less than getting a stock radiator re-cored.
