Title: Various Fiat and 131 material....
Post by: kev131 on December 27, 2013, 08:06:50 PM
More time on my hands over the Christmas so while hunting for a Series 1 Argenta colour chart (unsuccessfully - so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it) I came across this material. I've shared it here in case it is of interest - It's certainly a window to how slick the car advertising business is nowadays ...compared with how it was done when 131s were new...!  :)

Fiat Ireland advertising for the series 3 131.

This is a UK price list dated 08.06.81.

My favourite picture from this lot is the black 131 Sport advertising Fiat jackets. It's the only official Fiat picture of a black 131 Sport that I've ever seen and think exists (aside from the Walter Rohrl special edition)...but I'd be delighted to be proved wrong! If any man can, I bet it's Albert!  :)

These two pages list the tax free prices from Fiat UK. Interesting to note that you could order LHD for an extra ?45.00!

This colour chart lists the material codes for Fiat seats...in case they are of use to any restorers although I believe the material is just unobtainable any more.

Lastly optional alloy wheels.....

The tv advert to go with the how to make a Cortina into a 131 is on YouTube. I love the bit about corrosion protection, pure class! I see rear seat belts were available as a ?40 option.
