Post by: bellamacchina on January 01, 2008, 08:16:11 PM
Here is another nice article as featured in the august 1992 issue of Classic and Sportscar. Interesting Kev if the featured cars are still around?

Hi Albert - Yes this is a great article on the 131.

The sport is actually one of Simon's old cars but it came to a bad end in an accident with an Austin Maestro!

To be honest I expected it was that car! Do you think he saved the interior??

Doubt it - You wouldn't want it anyway mate - Look how grubby the driver's seat is!!  :D :D

Seriously.. I do think that Si salvaged parts from it (eg doors) but hang on until he is back on line and no doubt he will tell us.

We are busy collecting a complete red interior and as your driverseat is our passengerseat that is not the biggest problem.  It is for Remo's car. We are near complete now, only have to built it up from 2 interiors.Although I am still looking also for the best available material still at the market. You always think yourself you started too late collecting. When you see the horrorscenes around these cars it is almost unbelievable there are some left around. Let us keep them forever!
