Has anyone found a source for windscreen/windshields for 131 2 doors? I am about to start a project, and will be pulling the glass. I just want to be safe.... Just in case it cracks....... My local supplier has specially ordered, supplied & fitted two for me in the last couple of years. Expect to pay around ?300 fitted. Initially they couldn't track one down, and were looking at getting one from Europe, they managed to find one, the last of a batch of 6 produced in 2005. Cost was $460, but cost me nothing as I'm covered for 1 freebie a year on insurance.

My 131r top tints are made by Pilkington glass who quite happily, on two occasions, supplied a single screen. I believe they have kept the 'moulds' for just about everything ever made. In my case i had the fitter come to me and was only too happy to part with ?300 in total (twice) and all sorted in one phone call. :) |
