Never been to Stanford Hall event as the thought of the M25 and M1 on the homeward journey particularly, fills me with dread in a classic Fiat!

No worse than Brussels ring road  ;D ;D

Next month with all the news of 3ma14 lets have a bigger turn out in the sunshine under bobs gazebo ..

Anyone going?

I might do depending on how I get on fixing the exhaust and replacing the front discs on the Trevi. It may be a good test for the Trevi ahead of the following weekend's LMC AGM and Rally  ;)

Ive been triple booked  :(
  Alfa meet in beaulieu  , alfa meet at blenhiem palace and then stanford hall  :)

 so this year ive opted for beaulieu  , with stop off in sunny swanage night before ..in neighbours new caravan
 sorry bob

A nice show and still mainly Italian cars. There were just a handful of non Italians.

Bobs always a good host,, did the weather treat you well like it did me , are the strada's sommerset chris aka strada ..?

Weather was OK-ish. At least it didn't rain and the sun came out for a quick "hello" a few times  ;D
I didn't see the owner of the Blue Strada. I thought the Cabrio might be Chris Fairbank's but then I saw it driving off and didn't recognise the driver.

Oh shoot - I missed this and me and the fiat is only 2 miles away 😢

It was nice to see James is Argenta VX back on the scene. Not to keen on the Argenta shape to be honest but the running gear in that car is quality :)

Weather was better this year Jas, it was too hot last year. Caught some rain on the way home in the evening though and Voli was spinning the rear wheels in 3rd. :o

Britain's richest landowner has bought a historic Leicestershire estate and wants to turn it into a rehabilitation centre for wounded servicemen.

The Duke of Westminster is the proud new owner of Stanford Hall, the 360-acre country estate, near Loughborough.

With an estimated ?6.7 billion to his name from an inherited fortune including real estate in central London, the Duke has purchased the grade II-listed hall, gardens and grounds from businessman Chek Whyte for an undisclosed amount.

The 59-year-old aristocrat wants to create a "clinical rehabilitation" centre for military personnel and civilians.
