Title: Goodwood Track Day - Saturday May 24th Post by: Thotos on May 20, 2014, 09:01:31 PM This is very short notice but I've been asked by my Lancia buddies to extend an invitation to all 131 drivers for the LMC track day at Goodwood this coming Saturday the 24th of May.
There's still time to enter. Please complete the application form attached below and email it to Brian Mills at blsmills68@yahoo.co.uk. Payment can be made on Saturday (cash only please) as there's not enough time to post a cheque. Lancia Motor Club track days are great fun and they don't object to Fiat 131 as I've taken part with the Fiat before and will be doing again this Saturday. All you need is a roadworthy car and a helmet. Drive at your own pace, and in your own space. With just eight cars running in each session the circuit will seem pretty empty! An instructor will be on hand to offer advice. The circuit operates with strict overtaking rules and right of way for slower cars giving safety to every precious vehicle. I'd like to go but don't want to bend my Abarth on the track, otherwise 3MA14 will certainly be out of the question. Title: Re: Goodwood Track Day - Saturday May 24th Post by: Thotos on May 21, 2014, 08:41:17 AM I'm going with the 131 ;D It has a score to settle at Goodwood as last time it snapped the throttle cable :-[ The session was stopped and had to be towed off the track. So with new cable (for a Lambretta!) I'm hoping to last the all of the morning half-day sessions. It's 5 laps per session and just 8 cars on the track at a time so "you drive at your own pace, and in your own space" and not likely to end up in the hedges; especially as it's going to be dry this Saturday ;) Certainly not expecting any car bending and certainly not my 131 :)

And the spirited drive back from Goodwood following Simon's Abarth through some very picturesque West Sussex countryside was very 3maesque and certainly got my 3ma juices flowing :D ;D
