Too expensive and original to be "killed"!! ;D

The claimed 0-100 km/h is a bit ambitious!  :)

Wheel isn't the problem at all and accepted a number of years ago that if you want a 131 Sport / Racing, LHD is the way to go.

However, when I met up with Simon recently I discussed the problems of me purchasing a 131. I am predominantly away from home in the week (in multiple UK locations) that only leaves the weekend to spend time with the family. Also, whilst I have an above average knowledge of cars I have unlike others on the Forum, limited mechanical skills.

Furthermore I am very concerned about buying a lemon and would therefore need to know the cars history and have the vehicle intrusively inspected. I refer to the Kawasaki green 131 Sport that was on this forum. From the pictures it looked great. However it turned out to be a complete rot box.

However no one knows what the future holds.

No, don`t know neither car nor seller. However, if somebody is seriously (!) interested, I could have a look.

As my email I simply don't have the time to devote to a 131. Never say never for the future.

Hi Rob,

I have no knowledge about cars, even less mechanical skills and with a busy job, a house rebuild (I have no clue about that either but break down old and build new walls anyway  :o ) and two little babies maybe even less time then you have.

But this has never stopped me buying nice cars which I hope to enjoy in the future.

You can do a lot of yes/no/yes/no/maybe-in-the-future, but who says you will be able to find an affordable Sport/Racing then?

I'm already looking at the way the prices are "falling upwards" in a  :o way.

Even if you can't justify to get away in the weekends and drive around, you can still make a nice familiy-event out off cleaning and polishing :-)

My 3 yo hops in and out of whatever older car what is parked at home all the time and I'm hoping to infest my 6 months old daughter in the same way, as soon as she can walk that is.

So, "time to enjoy" is a flexible thing.  You just need a dry garage to store it in till the time comes to drive it.

I rest my case  8)

Yves

Yves

All good points, and yes I do have a dry and available garage as it is a real pain to get my car in and out of the garage.

Unfortunately my family do not share the same passion for 131's as I do. What is also clear is that I don't share the same passion for 131's as others on the Forum, because if I did then I'd own one.

Cheers

Rob
