Title: weber 40 idf adjustment
Post by: simon abarth on October 01, 2014, 06:54:43 PM
Hello everyone, I am currently on the installation of 2 weber 40 idf on a fiat ritmo 130 tc engine in 2000, placed in a 131
of course ;)
Original mounted on the engine 40 Solex, someone
can tell me if the sprinklers and nozzles will match a
this assembly for the engine is not under powered?
on my 130 ritmo, I kept the stock engine and mounted 2 weber 45 DCOE with nozzles 200 and 180 with nozzles 40,
it take them very well, and it take more turns ;D
like what these motors are clamped in the car series ;)
So my question is what setting can be done on the 40 idf?
thank you for your answers,

simon abarth.

You can see all you need in the diagram above. Last printed line. Em. tube F11, main jet 125, air corr. jet 210, main venturi 30, idle jet 55, ZZP= ignition timing. This setup works.

This setup works.

There's nothing to say it will work on his car. With IDF13/15 carbs he's probably got 32mm venturies for a start. I've got IDFs on mine, 32 venturies, 70 idles, 140 mains, 210 air and F11 tubes.
Pascal, what have you got on your car, we may be able to give you some help if we know your current setup?

I find the carburetor regulation of my friend
are the same as Robert except venturi 32
it will take compresions engine tomorrow
or maybe carburetor clogged with microscopic leads?
I do not know if you understand the translation  :-\
