Just got a complete set - looking very good it is ,was checking all wires and all seems fine except that there is a spare wire from the loom ie. yellow and nowhere for it to go . Any ideas what it`s for ? Thanks Finn Title: Re: Bosch electronic ignition kit Post by: strada on December 16, 2014, 09:29:13 PM ive just had a look at my car, the yellow wire goes to the negative side of the coil, the positive side of the coil is light blue and goes to the ballast resistor.

Just had a continuity test and yes the light blue is the same as yours but yellow shows live on diagram and it correspond to my test - surely live doesn`t go to negative side of coil ? Could it be a live for a fuel pump ? Finn |
