The Lancia Motor Club will be holding their annual Goodwood trackday on Saturday the 18th of April and thay are once again extending an invitation to other car clubs. I am told that there will be a couple of Maseratis this year and I can also tell you that there will be at least one 131  ;)  ;D

I believe the afternoon half sessions might be full but there should still be availability for full days or the morning half session. I'll be on the track for the morning half session and then spend the afternoon as a spectator and drinking coffee and chatting  ;D I find that half a day is enough action for both me and the car.

All you need to take part is a roadworthy car and a helmet. You drive at your own pace, and in your own space. With just eight cars running in each session the circuit will seem pretty empty!  An instructor will be on hand to offer advice. The circuit operates with strict overtaking rules and right of way for slower cars giving safety to every precious vehicle. There will be a 98db noise limit and since my car passes that (just!) other 131s shouldn't have a problem.

Of course you are always welcome as a spectator  :D
