Fiat 131/132 shoes drum brakes or fiat 124/132 calipers with discs brakes like front ones Title: Re: fiat 131 rear calipers Post by: POQ 131 on April 07, 2015, 01:05:13 AM fiat 124/132 calipers with discs brakes like front ones This is what I have on the rear of my Super Brava & they are the way to go IMHO.There is a brake bias proportioning unit bolted up on the rear rail & connected to the rear axle by a rod with a loop in it. Make sure that it is operational & correctly adjusted so that you will get maximum braking efficiency. O. Title: Re: fiat 131 rear calipers Post by: Tas131 on April 07, 2015, 11:29:11 AM I've got larger discs from a Regata 100S on the front and an early 132 rearend with discs. I'd had the bigger discs on the front before putting the disc rearend on the back, replacing the rear drums was a significant improvement. Calipers from the 125/132 have larger diameter pistons than 124 calipers and give a better rear bias.
