It's almost worth hiring a container and bringing the beast back to the UK ;) Alternatively I could get my mate in Auckland to buy it, and I could use it everytime I go over to see her ;) ;D 8) I do love the black ones!!!? 8) Title: Re: Sport for sale in NZ Post by: curt on February 05, 2008, 01:07:39 PM Its worth buying both - the rusty one is about 200 quid - the allys are worth that alone ;D ;D
If only it was a little nearer :-[ :-[ :'( I wonder what a container would cost ??? ??? Could use a holiday in NZ ;D Title: Re: Sport for sale in NZ Post by: BKFIAT on February 05, 2008, 02:28:40 PM Thats a tidy black sport and its right hand drive of course ............which would suit us Paddies mate! :D :D Its great to see cars from all over the globe. If any of our excellent statistitions are tuned in,how about mapping the planet, country by country,to show where all our members are situated and maybe the number of cars in each country,or something to that effect 8)............... like a 131 Eurovision :D :D :D :D
Title: Re: Sport for sale in NZ Post by: Thotos on February 05, 2008, 05:25:49 PM You mean something like the map below? That's visitors to the site from all over the world so effectively giving us 131 locations.
Talking of Eurovision ;D ;D I am going to Serbia for it in May immediately after the 3MA. I have my Eurovison tickets and my flights booked but can't get accommodation anywhere in Belgrade! ::) Do we have any members here from or near Belgrade that might be able to help? ;) Title: Re: Sport for sale in NZ Post by: 131v6 on February 06, 2008, 06:04:46 AM If you guys were tempted by the last one i don't know if i should post this one....
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Car-parts-accessories/Fiat/auction-139674244.htm Very cheap reserve actually. I'd expect it to go for a lot more Title: Re: Sport for sale in NZ Post by: BKFIAT on February 06, 2008, 04:50:00 PM Theo,Nice job on 131 World map :)........but.....really....?......The Eurovision? :o........ :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Title: Re: Sport for sale in NZ Post by: ger on February 06, 2008, 07:32:44 PM Hi Theo,
are you really going to the Eurovision ? If so, be prepaired for and stay abreast of the Irish entry. This will really ruffle your feathers!!!!! :D ;D ;). That's if it gets to represent us. God help us. Ger Title: Re: Sport for sale in NZ Post by: Thotos on February 08, 2008, 01:29:02 PM Theo, are you really going to the Eurovision ? If so, be prepaired for and stay abreast of the Irish entry. This will really ruffle your feathers!!!!! Yes, really! ;D I am a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest and not ashamed to admit it! :D I have already got my tickets and flights sorted and I believe I finally managed to sort out accommodation. So do you really think the Irish Turkey will make it to the Eurovision? Title: Re: Sport for sale in NZ Post by: BKFIAT on February 08, 2008, 03:05:41 PM Dustin the Turkey might as well represent Ireland because he"ll get no more of a roasting than our previous entries :D :D.Sadly ,last years entry was from Roscommon!...........terrible.....bloody awful.!....Go on ya good thing dustin!....12pts on the way from Theo and friends!............shur ......shur........we cant lose! 8)
Title: Re: Sport for sale in NZ Post by: Thotos on February 08, 2008, 04:29:24 PM Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately if Dustin the Turkey gets through ;D ) Ireland is in the first Semi Final on Tuesday 20th of May. Unfortunately again (or again maybe very fortunately if Dustin the Turkey gets through ;D ;D ;D) I won't be able to make it for the first Semi Final as I'll be driving back from Scotland on the 20th on my way back from the 3MA. ;) I am obviously a bigger fan of the 131 than the Eurovision Song contest as even though I considered cutting my stay at the 3MA a day short to make it to Belgrade earlier, I decided against it. 8) So I won't be able to support Ireland as I won't be flying to Belgrade until Wednesday 21st. Again unfortunately (although I think this might be on purpose) the UK won't be able to vote for any countries in the first Semi final so Ireland cannot depend on the UK's support to get through to the final.
