Title: 3ma25 - Northumberland 23-26 May 2025 - The Drives Post by: Thotos on March 31, 2025, 10:02:01 PM Our organising member Phil, has been very busy plotting our driving routes for 3ma25. Below are the provisional drives for the four days of 3ma25. It's important to stress that these are provisional and will be confirmed after Phil has completed his recce sometime in April.
Day1 Friday: Taking in Jedburgh, Jim Clarke museum for viewing & lunch. Then onto Holy Island, while the tide allows, for cream tea. This was at my request ;) ;D Day 2 Saturday: Drive two including 12 miles of Forrest road in the Kielder Forest (https://www.forestryengland.uk/kielder-forest/kielder-forest-drive - £5 per car). Day 3 Sunday: Scenic coast road drive. Day 4 Monday: Drive to the Beamish Living Museum (https://www.beamish.org.uk/). No return drive has been plotted so people can spend as much time as they want at Beamish and then make their own way back to the hotel. Title: Re: 3ma25 - Northumberland 23-26 May 2025 - The Drives Post by: Thotos on May 12, 2025, 10:49:43 PM On Friday the 23rd, we have a booking to visit the Jim Clark Museum, where we’ll also be having lunch at their Bistro. They have also agreed to let us park our 131s in their display area.
As this date coincides with the setup for the Jim Clark Rally weekend, both the town and museum are expected to be busy. To help things run smoothly, we’ve been asked to pre-order our lunches. If you’ve already confirmed your attendance at 3ma25, you should have received an email prompting you to make your lunch selection. Of course, the town offers other cafés and ice cream shops within a short walking distance from the museum, so Bistro dining isn’t mandatory. However, if you’d like to join us for lunch at the Bistro but haven’t received the email, please check your spam folder. If the email—with the menu attached—is still missing, chances are we weren’t aware you’d be attending. Please let us know by sending an email to 3ma25@131mirafiori.com (3ma25@131mirafiori.com?Subject=Jim Clark Museum visit) Title: Re: 3ma25 - Northumberland 23-26 May 2025 - The Drives Post by: jasonh131 on May 16, 2025, 11:46:50 AM Just notice THE SCOTTISH ITALIAN CAR DAY on the Sunday...
