I have found one 'in stock' but the tabs for the screws which hold the plastic connector insert appear to be broken and the connector falls out of the switch. (See pic). :-\

I'll see if I have a good one somewhere. ;)

bit of finesse needed! why not put the button where the switch was? that would be a lot cooler than a Red bracket!!

I can't see the picture but I've noticed a Chineese made copy on Ebay for $20 plus postage. Genuine ones are generally around the ?50 mark.

Always a good spare part to carry in stock. I've had two go in 6 years.  :o

Jason - is this a genuine or a copy - Sounds too cheap to be original?

If it's genuine ...or at least very good quality ...perhaps you can provide the supplier?

Cheers

Kev

I don't believe it again. Just ordered my fifth one !!!!  .just returned from MOT and it went again .going to sort some light  relays out..to stop power wrecking the barrel contacts .I know  Roger  should have done it sooner..who else has done there lights on relays  ?

I always fit relays for the lights (and 100W headlight bulbs!). It's an easy thing to do but that's not your problem. If the lights draw too much current then they'll melt the contacts in the stalk switches not the ignition barrel. You either use the wrong barrels or there's a problem somewhere else.

Main beam is relaid as standard but dip is not.   I think, dip beam, heater fan, stuff like that is overloading old or poor ignition switch parts.  Baby had a very burned fed wire into the IGN barrel, I had to solder a new connector.  I assume it did the connector because it was a poorer joint than the switch contacts. I got so hot you couldn't hold it before I fixed it. Even the plastic connector surround was burned through.
