Title: Anti freeze advice Post by: Crazypierre on August 27, 2018, 09:09:51 PM Evening Gents,
Hope you're all well. I decided to flush out my old coolant and wonder what sort of antifreeze I should use. Mine is a 1979 131 1300 CL pushrod engine. I see some are blue, some red. My Haynes Manual says Glycol based...... I'm going to need just under 2 litres for a 25% mixture. Thanks for any advice you can give. Cheers Pete Title: Re: Anti freeze advice Post by: Thotos on August 27, 2018, 10:42:31 PM I would stick with the good old-fashioned Glycol based Blue stuff and change it every two years.

Use a 50% mix. |
