Our base will be the WestCord hotel de Veluwe (https://westcordhotels.com/hotel/hotel-de-veluwe/), in Garderen, The Netherlands Garderen is a village with approximately 2000 inhabitants in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Barneveld, in the forests of the Veluwe. It is in an agricultural enclave on the west side of the Veluwe and is a very popular tourist destination. (http://www.peerdsebarg.nl/wp-content/uploads/Dorpsgezicht-Garderen.jpg) The Veluwe is a forest-rich ridge of hills (1100 km2) and features many different landscapes, including woodland, heath, some small lakes and Europe's largest sand drifts. It is a very popular tourist destination with many attractions in the area including four zoos, over 50 museums including the Kröller-Müller art museum (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kr%C3%B6ller-M%C3%BCller_Museum), and the royal palace Het Loo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Het_Loo) at Apeldoorn (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apeldoorn).
