I've moved to Rome for the next 6 months or so for a bit of work in Rome Airport, (FCO)
so if any of he regulars here need anything, hopefully within 20 miles or so of Rome
(preferably the Northern side), I'm your man that can, OK ?

I drove out Gerry's White 1.8 TC Fiat 132 from Shannon to Rome
and she went from Cherbourg to Rome in 23 hours (inc 4 hours for sleep stops)
at an average cruising speed of 88 on her own speedo, and 80 on the Sav-Nav,
and all she took was a half litre of water near Paris, and a half litre of 80W-90
Back axle oil once she reached Rome.

The locals in Fiumnicino ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiumicino )
have copped on to the fact that she is a RHD
and the stares and looks she gets are only amazing.

If I had a rare Ferrari, I wouldn't be getting half the attention.

Gerry would have loved it all !

Many many thanks to Brensports and Missus Brensports of Laois,
for technical assistance on the leg out to Rome

Regards, Kennedy of Sixmile'
