If it really is rust free then surely it is a good basis for a project. Already has a cage and it looks like it has IRS fitted too. Much easier to build and fit an engine and box than repair a rotten shell.....

cheap car if its not rotten as he says.
buy a rotten one, 6 months welding it up, build a cage, adjustable suspension, find panels, spend 6 months trying to make up irs,
screw your interior in, drop your engine in evening faster, your steering from the rear faster than you can say "escort mk 2" ?

Looks like it has had a lot of welding. As always go and see the car if you are interested, in my experience pictures do not always tell the whole story.

To much money and as for the mention that a 131 would beat a mk 2 escort i dont know But i had a 1600 sport in the 80s and it wasnt near as giddy on corners as a 131
