Well if you open the link from Autoscout24 at the bottom of this posting and look at the variety of 131 Sports/Racings that appear in order of price, one can see a certain hierarchy as follows:

Least valuable colour: Silver
Mid value colour: Grey.
Most valuable colour: Orange.

No black cars for sale at the moment so no insight there - They do seem very rare on the continent, in fact everywhere now.

I also accept that one extravagently priced orange car at ?20k proves very little but as it is the first time that I've seen what look like 7 (1 silver car at ?9000 has since dropped off) reasonable condition cars for sale all at the same time it does offer an interesting perspective (and trend) on Sport/Racing values and whether colour influences same.  Smiley

Orange is the colour most people remember the racing/sport from.
Black was only on offer on limited markets so much less produced.
I think silver and gunmetal do around the same.

 followed closely by black
