Is that what one is worth these days? Last one I sold I got ?250 for I think. That one was also complete and removed from a 60,000 mile car. It was a very sweet engine too.

Mirafioriman i can understand your surprise, I bought last year a genuine 50,000 mile 2.0L tc engine rebuilt and re painted with 3 gearboxes 1 dud 2nd usable (with work) and 3rd ready to fit from outside Aberdeen for ?220 job lot !
Up untill the last few months this was the average price a decent tc 2.0L sold for on UK ebay, it seems sellers now want ?500 + now  Shocked

Don't forget chaps, what the 2 litre crank achieved in the rallies!

A few years ago I remember 2 brand new 2 litre engines complete with carb that went for 800 ish. These were ex display units in the Uk.

Did you buy them ?? because if i saw two (brand new) 2.0L TC engines for ?800 even 10 years ago i would have bought them.

No Angus, Didn't bother bidding and 800 ish seemed pointless when there were lots of engines for sale at the time. Another regretful ebay bid i guess but, you live and learn.

I have just about sourced everything to build my own fast road 2 litre.
