What condition was it in? New one to me....

Rumour has it that LZY 795 could well be the ex-Frank Church 131 Sport as it has lots of the hallmarks. From the pic that was recently posted on Facebook the car looked to be in excellent condition - gun metal with Rostyle type steel wheels.

Is it possible to import a car into the ROI and have it registered on an age related plate, as we can in the UK? If so, the rumour could be true.

You cant get an age related plate in Ireland on pre 1987 cars just 2 types of imported plate  say if the car is 1981 you get a 81 or ZV for the more classic look if the car is 30 years or older. The import regs dont look that nice, like the old pre 1987 old Irish regs, an old Irish reg is not transferable

Imported ZV reg  I could have went 81MN60** reg when I was taking it in here but went ZV.
