Good question Donald.
Personally I've been a F1 fan since the early 80s. As a Fiat man my team has always been Ferrari no matter who is driving for them. Of course I've had a few favourite drivers along the way the first of which was Gilles Villeneuve, and I dont think his place has ever been taken as my number 1. I have some footage of his last lap dicing with Rene Arnoux in a Renault in Dijon I think where the lead changed hands 5 or 6 times on the same lap. Really committed stuff the like of which I have never seen since. I can still remember where I was when I heard that he had been killed - I was a devasted teenager for months after!
Other Ferrrai greats included Alboreto, Berger, Alesi and of course Michael!?

As a secondary series I used to love the Bristish Touring car series in the late 80s/early 90s. John Cleland in a Vauxhall Cavalier was a real racer and before the relaxation of the rules to allow aerodynamic mods to the standard bodywork, the racing was close and unpredictable with lots of overtaking.
Aaah - The good old days!?

I also remember Jacques Villeneuve and Greg Moore in the American racing series (cant remember it's name). They were really entertaining drivers too.
