After viewing? 131 S with 3.2L Fiat V6? a lovely car in the showroom section, I thought you may want to see some pics of a car that will be coming up for sale soon.

1978 Fiat 130 Coupe 5 speed manual.

I was contacted by a 128 friend who wanted me to look at a 128 estate that this chap had for sale. When I arrived at his garage he showed me in and the 1st car I saw was this 130 Coupe. Late registration year I thought, silver isn't that common on these I thought........bloody hell, its a manual I thought Shocked!!

It turns out to be the last Coupe registered in the UK and was special order for someone high up in Fiat UK. The manual option was always there but not popular due to the heavy clutch. The gearbox is a Fiat Dino unit with adaptions for the Coupe engine.

It does run, has 60,000 miles on the clock and is in fairly good condition (dusty with dents but not rotten).

The car is up for sale due to loss of storage but not advertised anywhere yet, so if anyone is interested send me a PM and I'll contact the owner. No price mentioned but I think it's negotiable due to the circumstances...look see what an auto goes for and decide the value on condition.

Oh and the 128 estate was in a state, so I told my friend to pass. It sold on ebay a few days later for scrap money.? ?

These cars just keep popping up outta nowhere? Smiley.

RHD and manual is extremely rare. These cars are still not highly appreciated. On a show here 2 weeks ago one was for sale for under 3000E in very acceptable condition(no joke), another nicely restored one stood for 15K( and I am sure you don't get that the next few years).

I hope really this one will be saved!
