Had some book tokens to spend so I went into a local bookshop looking for the new Fiat 131 book by Graham Robson. They did not have it, but were very helpful and have ordered it for me. When I was at the desk I was speaking to another employee who did not know about Fiat 131s but was aware of older Fiats like the 124 and 127. Turns out he was a photographer and is a friend of Phil Ward from Auto Italia. He was actually the best man at his wedding. Life is full of funny coincidences!

Picked up the book today. Only had chance for a quick flick through to look at the pictures so far, but it looks pretty good.  Grin

A shame it only covers the Abarth models, a nice thick book about the whole 131 series would make good reading! One thing they could have done better would be to have a picture of a series 1 saloon not a series 2, this was of course what the Abarth was based on.
