series 2 series 1 mis-match?? that colour was very popular here back in the day, there was a supermirafiori just up the road that was that green 78 model & was rotten in 1982 & got a new front welded on cut & shut!! & the doner car was northern Irish which were rotten quicker than the southern ones cos of the salt on the roads in winter.

Not a bad find - Yes an unusual colour - Quite rare now.

Nick - The L versions of the S2 retained the S1 dash from the basic model. I never understood why - Seemed like needless cost cutting and designed to remind the owner that he was driving a poverty spec car! Angry

Looks like a nice example for a keen price. Not sure if I like the colour or not Grin

Just like my Father's car except his had the rare factory steel sliding sunroof. His also had full velour seats. I think the later ones became a mixture of velour and vinyl.
