As part of the Italian car day last Sunday (see other thread) a visit to a collector of 70/80s Rally cars was on the itinerary.

I thought that his latest aquisition would be of interest to readers of this forum (especially those in Ireland) as it is the first Group 4 Abarth to reside in the Emerald Isle (there are now 4 genuine Abarths here)? Grin This one is on carbs and apparently is producing about 195bhp.

Here are some pics taken from inside a darkish garage. Enjoy and thanks to the owner for permission to post these here.

Now that looks like a lovely 131. That is my favourite colour scheme. Looks a very clean car too, thanks for posting the pics.

A lovely, lovely thing T.

I think I might just pee my pants if I were taken for a spin a car like that T. Kev, looks like you're gonna make lots of 131 fans very jealous - especially me Wink

195 bhp from carbs - blimey! Cool I could only dream of getting that out of my Stradale Roll Eyes Also, quite surprised to see it still on the 'standard' wheels - suits it though.

I love 131s!!  Grin Grin Grin

It's times like these I wish I was closer to all of the Irish 'action'. Undecided
