Further to last weeks discussions regarding the lack of old Italian Cars in Romania, I travelled to Brasov North of the Capital and spotted an excellent Silver Gamma Coupe on the way into the City from one of the mountain regions. This car was parked outside a nice country house and was clearly in regular use and judging by the condition was owned by an enthusiast. Unfortunalty due to the company I was with it was not appropriate to stop to take a picture of it.

Theo: I was just wondering, knowing that these are your second  Undecided favourite classic after 131's whether the owner is a member of any of the Gamma Clubs you are involved with.

As you probably know I also run the Lancia Gamma forum but we don't have any Romanian members, or at least I don't think so  Undecided I've posted a copy of your post (I hope you don't mind  Wink ) to see if any of the other Gamma owners know anything about the car in Romania.

I haven't had use of my Gamma Coupe for over 2 years now as it's been undergoing major restoration but the end is finally in sight  Cheesy (details here if you are interested).

I would be interested to know if you get any feedback on this car. If required I could pinpoint the location of this car as it was on the same road as our Hotel / Lodge on one of the main roads into Brasov. It was also close to a large white concrete tower (don't know what the tower was for water?).

I'll let you know if anyone comes back with details. You can also keep an eye on the Lancia Gamma Forum post http://gammaconsortium.com/lanciagammaforum/index.php?topic=956.msg8469#msg8469

Gamma is looking good. Are you fitting everything back together yourself? Looking forward to seeing the car finished and back together Smiley

Thanks  Wink Cheesy Yes the reassembly of the car is primarily my job (as was most of the disassembly). I have the day off work again tomorrow so it will be another marathon reassembly job down at Mark's Italian Race Services where the Gamma is. Front end (lights, bumper etc) should go on tomorrow as well as most of the rest of the interior.
