any one have pics for veglia gauges

i want to ask if any one have use scanner to get veglia gauges on computer to make customized gauges and make the light come from behind the numbers

Hi!

It is possible but not very easy. This is how it can be done:

1. First you have to remove old instrument dials for scanning and measuring

2. Then you have to create new dials made of 1 mm thick clear plastic plate. This can be done with a CNC machine.

3. Overprint with 70% transparent white color

4. 2 x printing with black and other colors on top of the white.

And what does it cost? Something like 300 EUR

This sounds like a great idea - Standard lighting is feeble...Maybe if there was a lot of demand the costs might come down...?
