More:

BMW E28 520i. Had this before the green W123 Mercedes. This pic is from when I first got it. Then I painted the kit again, lowered it, fitted chrome arches and repainted the grille and wiper arms in the original satin black. Unfortunately I have not found any pictures from after I did the work to it yet Roll Eyes

Audi 90 CD. This was actually my Father's but I did drive it quite a bit Grin

They are all nice motors apart from the 2cv cant bear them.
Like the Audi 80 my mate had a mint white 80 sport think it was an A reg with the side decalls back in early 90s lovely sound from their engine on hard take off.
Shame you never kept the MK1 hidden in your garage. It would be worth a few bob now.MK1 and MK2 prices are mad now even the 4 door modes.

My Citroen BX 19RD. Started using my first 131 after this:

I bought this as it was a diesel and I was doing a lot of miles at the time travelling to from and around Manchester.

I succumbed to its charms but the relationship started badly. First about a week after I got it the clutch went in Manchester. This meant entrusting the work to a garage. Cost a lot, the car was given back to me late and very dirty and then on the way back to Carlisle I had to be recovered as they had damaged the gearbox seals doing the job and it was coming out faster than I could put it in Roll Eyes

Also after this job the drivers door fell off Shocked (rust)

By the time I sold it it had a full velour GTI interior in black (including dash, carpets, door panels and all plastics - big job) Xantia wheel trims and a full GTi 16v body kit that came from a scrapyard I used to visit regularly in North Wales.

I enjoyed its comfortable hydrolastic ride and great fuel economy Wink

Two more:

This Mk 2 Escort was bought by my Father after he changed jobs and gave up the company car. We didn't have it long but it was a really clean one. Sold it to a young woman who had just passed her test. Looking at the DVLA website it didn't last long afterwards.

This Audo 90 Quattro was also my Fathers. It came after the silver Audi 90 above. Similar car but the insurance company refused to let me drive it as I was under 25 at the time Roll Eyes It had a full grey leather interior and I really liked it. We sold it to a local 'enthusiast' who ran his own independent VW/Audi specialist. He promptly wrote it off......

Nice memories... While reading this thread I started to think about my previous vehicles. So, here is my story with few pics. I couldn't find pictures of all my previous cars.

- First car I ever had was 1982 FORD ESCORT 1.6 GL 5dr. I bought it in my 18th birthday 1996. I drove with it about two years.

- My second car was 1984 FIAT UNO 70 SL 5dr. This was my car while I was in army for ten months.

- Third car was 1982 FIAT RITMO ABARTH 125 TC. This car is nowadays owned by my uncle and you can see it in beside of my 131 Racing in my project story in Project Corner. Here she is in 1999 in Ahvenisto Race Track:

- Unfortunately I crashed my 125 TC and I had no money to repair it. I was forced to sell it to my uncle and buy my fourth car, 1987 FIAT UNO 60 S 3dr

- While driving with 60 bhp Uno I was forced to buy a faster car. I managed to buy a 1984 SAAB 900 T16 AERO. This is one of the funniest cars I've ever owned. With the replaced APC unit and modified turbocharger it had almost 300 bhp with a HUGE turbo kick. I just loved this car and I have to admit that I have managed to find out the current owner and I am interested in buying this car back to myself. Here she is:

- In 2001 I got my current job and I was forced to travel quite a lot. As you might know, Saab is not the most cost-effective cars and I sold it. I bought a brand new 2001 FORD FOCUS 1.6 LIMITED 3dr.

- The Focus was full of "childhood diseases" and I made one of the most stupid decisions I ever made: In 2002 I bought a brand new 2002 FORD MONDEO 1.8 AMBIENTE 4dr. This car was more at the local Ford repair shop than on the road. This is the car I just want to forget...

- In 2003 I bought a brand new 2003 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF VARIANT 1.6 SPORTLINE. This was one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned.

- For some reason Skoda Octavia II pleased my eyes and I decided to buy one. It was a great car. 2005 SKODA OCTAVIA 1.6 FSI ELEGANCE.

- After seeing some pictures of Skoda Octavia RS I was gone... Never seen the car in live, never test drove it. I just wanted to have one and I ordered it as a first RS II customer in Finland. My car was one of the first 2006 SKODA OCTAVIA 2.0 TFSI RS's ever made. I equipped it with MTM chip and it delivered 272 bhp.

- Then I made the GREATEST mistake ever with cars. Because all careerist's and climbers were driving with a SUV I needed to have one. In 2007 I bought 2007 MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER 2.0 DID INTENSE+. It just didn't work. In 47000 km's I managed to destroy the gear box. All the electronics were f***ed up. Radio, OBC, AC.

- 2008 I went back to Skoda dealer and ordered another RS. This time it was 2008 SKODA OCTAVIA COMBI 2.0 TDI DPF RS. Again it was equipped with a custom made MTM chip and some improvements in turbo charger and DPF. It had 242 bhp with 510 Nm torque.

- Last spring I made one of my dreams come true. I bought 2006 BMW (E61) 530 DA M-SPORT TOURING. This because all careerist's and climbers are driving nowadays with a SUV or BMW  Grin.

- My first pure "hobby car" was 1982 FIAT 127 903. Sold it about a year ago.
