Wet, windy and bloomin' cold counts as wild doesn't it? Well it does in my book! Wink

A few weeks ago I was invited by journo Ross Alkureishi to a multi-car Abarth shoot for Classic and Sportscar Magazine at the private Turweston Aerodrome near Silverstone, Northamptonshire. So, this morning I rose at 5am Shocked (wanted to beat the traffic), loaded the car with sandwiches and a full flask and set off northwards. The weather was horrid  Cheesy, not proper rain but damp enough to throw salt and grime laden water over my clean beastie Undecided )Waste of time cleaning it on Sunday Cry). I arrived early and waited for others -

First a red Strada 130TC, then Middle Barton Garage arrived with a Fiat 750 Abarth Bialbero 'Double Bubble', a nice 595 SS and a 1000TC racer. We were then joined by Ross and his 124 Abarth and a chap called Tim with his white 1000OT (850 Coupe based car).

Lots of standing around in the cold while the photographer did his stuff - interior and engine shots, then a spot of lunch before 'action' shots on the runway.

A couple of taster/teaser shots below.

Car of day? Surprised you need to ask...... Grin Grin Grin

Looks wonderful, Simon. Too bad about the weather. Reminds me of my photoshoot back in 2003  Embarrassed
