when i boght my car, the rear bumper had large white paint splashes onit. today i toook paint stripper to it, needs full rest. beneath the white paint was a coat of black. beneath that is a coat of white!! over the entire bumper! beneath that it is the black plastic. also, there are 2 patches of bog wherre the mounts are. see pic. is this normal, i assumed the bumpers colour reflected what it was made of, that they werent painted at the factory. looks like i might have to get them painted!

Seems your bumper was painted white and then black again.

thats not what I was meaning, I figured that out! I was asking if the two areas of bog are common or has this bumper been repaired, or do they leave the factory like that after painting.

The whole trim was in that particular color. Black bumpers and arches, such as silver and gold. And light blue.

I've got a superbrava bumper sitting in the trailer ready to go to the tip. I'll scrape the paint off near the mounts and have a look before I chuck it.
