Now ended?

Seen this car for sale a few times before. Looks like a tidy example.

If I had the money would I buy it  Huh
If I had the money and went to view the car and all was well with it and it is a straight clean example is it worth ?5500
You can buy a lot of car for that money  -So why has no one bought it
Suggestions on a web card please -Im intrigued -you guys know more about real values than me
Wait for the answers-If there are any  Smiley

I guess there is a limited market for a 131 sport. When it is a high price that again limits the market to people who want a sport and can afford the asking price. I for example will admit that I can not afford to buy any car of this price.

As they say in the trade it only takes one interested person to sell a car, it's just finding them that can be hard!

well would like to know  what has been done to it & backed up by restoration pics etc? my option was getting a cheaper example like i did & do all the work on it yourself & then you know what you got or if you cant do the work yourself at least take a mechanic & a body man to view the car first & then either buy or walk away, j cos as far as i can see advertisments are a lot of bulls**t talk about what has been done & probably done badly or not at all ,we all know how rotten with rust the 131 can be, would me a bit mad to spend that cash on it & then discover shes not all shes made out to be, has anyone on the forum viewed it? just my 2 cents worth

I have to agree with you Sid.This car has been on car&classic for a good few weeks and has been now taken off.About 2 years ago it was for sale on e-bay and it looked very dull and drab looking. The sills were gone and i presume re-placed or patched up since, however the car now looks immaculate i have to say,but as sid says to pay big money and afterwards find out that this is the car you never wanted. What i mean is rust coming out through the paint a year later.
Restoration pictures of any work carried out is a must, otherwise you could be  buying a pig in a poke plus the cars history. This is only my opinion for what it's worth.Eugene Grin
