Hi Guys,
I went to the Classic Car Day in Terenure yesterday, what a day

. I ended up going in Dave Nolans' 124 sport, what an experience, from start to finish

. A lovely car and a deadly driver ( brilliant)

. We got up to the venue early , would have been earlier only Dave had to stop to help out a guy that had broken down on the side of the road in a FORD Cortina 1979. That seems to be Daves heart of gold .he would even stop to help someone in a FORD, not alone that but it was raining aswell...and Dave in a T-shirt. Come to think of it he was in a T-shirt at Gerry Kennedys (R.I.P.) funneral also and it was Baltic. He must have the skin of a Rhino.
Anyway back to the story..............We got into the field did a quick scout about , then the others started to arrive, again Dave sprung into action, getting the ars parked in line and in order( as you can see from the pics.... tanx Kev & Sid)

.
The amount of different cars was mind blowing for an irish event, it was well organized and very well supported. Even the weather was okay , the sun shone and it was very warm when it did, didn't it Gerafiori. Gerry forgot to bring his cap, won't forget the next time. We only had one 131 Sport in lovely condition ,which was Kevin Doyles , hopefully by next year I'll have one myself again.
All in all it was a great day ...even the journey home was good ...a small convoy of some Fiats just appeared and dissapeared just a quick as the rain started to fall again.
Thanks to Dave , Kev, and Gerry
What a day

Cheers GER
