This Sport might be known to the forum as the picture was taken at the entrance to Snetterton Race Circuit around 1990/91.An italian marques event was staged and it looks like a convoy of Fiats had made the trip - i remember the Sport and 130 tc flooring it straight after i had taken the photo !!

Here's a the reply i got when emailing Mark::::::::
Hey!!! What a great pic..!
Yes , that's me in the Sport and my good buddy in his 130.
We went to watch the Italian Intermarque at Snetterton.......boy, those were the days...
I`ve still got his car, albeit in total pieces, ready for a re-shell as it was written off(banana-ned)..
Still hanker after the `old sport` though... Great car.

I must have given you that photo Jason? I took the photo on Saturday, 27 July 2002, 5:27:26 pm when I went and saw the car with the possibility of buying it. I didn't buy it and bought the Sport I have now a few months later.

Don't want to say too much as I might offend someone but the car wasn't for me. It needed a lot of work both bodily and mechanically. Most panels started to bubble, brakes didn't work, suspension (chopped?) was bouncing all over the place, too much of the hard to find trim was missing and it had the wrong interior. Even so, as I had all the missing trim and interior from my silver sport and I knew everything else could be sorted I did make an offer on the car but seller and buyer were too far apart on price to agree.
